Melbourne Garden Weddings

What makes The Wedding Zone stand out from our competitors?

Knowledge, Reputation, Experience.

Our garden state boasts so many opulent garden wedding locations but how do you select a location that’s right for you. With over ten years experience in the industry and having worked all over the city, we have presented a handful of locations for your consideration. Primarily, a garden wedding permit should not cost the earth - no pun intended!

An average garden wedding permit will cost between $500 and $700.

Our top recommendations for garden wedding ceremonies within the Melbourne CBD

The Royal Botanic Gardens:
As a preferred supplier to this venue we may be a little biased but the choice of locations, the incredible backdrops and the views of our beautiful city simply can not be matched at any other location. From very early morning ceremonies to late evening pack downs, this serene and age-old venue is the jewel of the garden wedding industry.Due to the sensitive nature of the gardens, this is a managed venue and as such, the venue will refer you to their preferred suppliers. There is a wide range of products available from each quality supplier and with each company having an extensive knowledge of the gardens, the booking process is actually made easier for you.
Enquiries and booking can be made directly via www.blakesfeast.com.au

Fitzroy Gardens, Pioneer Women’s Memorial Gardens, Treasury Gardens, Queen Victoria Gardens and The Kings Domain
From August through to May you will find our Garden Wedding Team in any one, two or three of these locations. Council rangers are on site to ensure that their strict guidelines are adhered to. Advance enquiries and permit bookings are absolutely essential. The historic Old Banstand at Fitzroy Gardens is definitely the most popular ceremony site within this location.

Onsite Meetings through the Winter Months

If you require some assistance in selecting the right location for you, we can arrange for one of our garden weddings team members to meet on site at any of the locations listed above. We will provide sound logistical and decor advice along with relative contact information for permit bookings. Please call one week prior to arrange a meeting time.
